Approaching traditional Italian and Milanese recipes with his own unique techniques, Executive Chef Guida brings a stunning contemporary touch to the menu. Renowned for his use of colourful and inspiring ingredients, Chef Guida’s dishes are celebrated equally for their impeccable taste and exquisite presentation. Open six days a week for lunch and dinner, the restaurant also serves a delicious breakfast. Inspired by Milan of the 1950s, the timeless design offers year-round inside seating and the chance to dine outside in our beautiful courtyard during the spring and summer months. Raised in Puglia, Southern Italy, Chef Guida has a true passion for Italian cuisine, focusing on seasonal ingredients and the careful balance between taste and presentation.

  • Bar Bistro

    The bar bistro is the pulsing heart of Mandarin Oriental, Milan offering a seductive mix of contemporary music, delicious dishes and bespoke cocktails. Catering both to guests and the city’s discerning style crowd, it enjoys a relaxed atmosphere with three distinctive areas; the bar, an inside lounge and an outside courtyard area featuring a mix of bistro tables and private alcoves. Open for a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menu features a mix of Italian dishes, salads and Antonio Guida’s reinterpretation of traditional sandwiches, served with a modern twist. In addition, guests will be able to enjoy tea and pastries in the afternoon. As evening falls, the atmosphere changes as the bar morphs into one of Milan’s most exclusive nightspots. Canapés and cocktails created by our in-house mixologists are served, whilst live DJs and musicians help enhance the lively, pre-dinner atmosphere. After dinner, the mood changes again with mood-centric music, subtle lighting and bespoke cocktails taking guests through to the early hours. On Sundays, the bar bistro serves a Jazz Brunch and on occasion participates in a special Wellness and Mindfulness Day Spa programme, turning the hotel into an urban country club for all the family.
